His influence has far surpassed the local music scene, sending ripples across Africa and reaching as far as the USA and numerous European countries, firmly establishing his global presence. Nasty C‘s extensive musical catalogue, filled with a string of hit songs, has earned him widespread recognition and respect, not only internationally but also at home.

His loyal and ever-growing fanbase in South Africa stands as a testament to his enduring appeal and the impact he has made on the hip-hop landscape, where he continues to reign as one of the most celebrated artists.

However, the multi-award-winning rapper said that if he was an American citizen by birth he would’ve gone stating that the music landscape in the USA allows him to be versatile and not to stick to one sound with the fears of being criticized by his fans.

“I also feel like if I was born in the States and grew up in the States I feel like nxgga I would’ve gone so far bro. Like I would be a megastar but I’m in SA dawg and it’s like people over here is like ah if you are too versatile you’re all over the place. It’s like ah go back to that sound you did five years ago, or nxggas are just like this sounds like you changed, It’s crazy,” Nasty C said.

Recently, Nasty C announced his plans to relocate to the USA permanently. While he hasn’t shared an exact timeline, the rapper expressed his desire to leave South Africa to further develop his craft and expand his versatility, free from constant scrutiny.
