However, fate had other plans. While listening to his album in its early stages, Yanga found himself reflecting on the absence of an AKA verse. “I went to a hotel just for a day, just walking around, listening to the album, and I was thinking about the fact that I don’t have an AKA verse,” he recalled. Then, an unexpected thought struck him—check WhatsApp.

Upon revisiting his chat history with AKA, Yanga discovered a forgotten verse that had been sent to him some time ago. “There and behold, there is a verse that he sent me a while ago that I hadn’t used,” he said. Seizing the moment, he decided to incorporate it into the album. Although the verse was originally meant for a different song, Yanga adapted by crafting a new beat around it to make it fit seamlessly.

This revelation adds an emotional depth to Lord Faku: The Life of a Dyan, as it not only reflects Yanga Chief’s artistry but also serves as a tribute to his late friend. While the project was already a personal and introspective body of work, the unexpected inclusion of an AKA verse makes it even more significant for fans who continue to celebrate the legacy of the Supa Mega.
