Central Cee Set To Perfom At Hey Neighbour Festival this August

The Hey Neighbour Festival is set to electrify Pretoria this August with a stellar lineup, headlined on Day One by none other than UK rap sensation, Central Cee. This marks a significant addition to the festival’s roster, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.

Central Cee, born Oakley Neil Caesar-Su, has rapidly ascended the global music scene, becoming a prominent figure in British hip-hop. His unique blend of UK drill and melodic rap has garnered him a massive following worldwide. In January 2025, he released his debut studio album, Can’t Rush Greatness, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and number nine on the Billboard 200, making it the first UK rap album to reach the top ten in the United States.

The album features collaborations with notable artists such as Young Miko, 21 Savage, Dave, Lil Durk, Skepta, and Lil Baby.  Its success was further cemented by breaking the record for the most streams for a UK rap album in a single day on Spotify, with over 19 million streams.

Central Cee’s performance at the Hey Neighbour Festival is highly anticipated, especially following his recent accolades, including multiple MOBO Awards.  His dynamic stage presence and chart-topping hits are expected to set the tone for an exhilarating festival experience.

With the festival now condensed into a two-day event, attendees can look forward to a weekend packed with high-energy performances. While the full lineup for Day One remains under wraps, the inclusion of Central Cee as the headliner sets a high bar for the festival’s offerings.

Prepare for an unforgettable weekend of music and culture at the Hey Neighbour Festival. Secure your tickets and be part of this landmark event in Pretoria’s entertainment calendar.
