While many music lovers know her for electrifying hip-hop sets and chart-topping work behind the scenes, the celebrated DJ says House music has always been at the heart of her journey. The new event is her way of reconnecting with those roots while sharing that chapter of her story with both longtime supporters and new audiences.

Reflecting on the announcement, Miss Pru shared, “Many of you met me through hip hop, and I’m so grateful for that. But House Music is where my story as a DJ began, and Sunset Fridays is my way of sharing that part of me with you. 31 July at LaSalud in Sandton is where we’ll meet! RE OOON!”

Designed as the ultimate Friday evening escape, Sunset Fridays promises an atmosphere where House music, good food and handcrafted cocktails come together as the sun sets over Sandton. The event gets underway at 5 pm, creating the perfect setting for after-work relaxation before the night comes alive.

Guests can also choose from a selection of table packages tailored for groups. The Starter package, priced at R2,800, includes Hennessy VS, six Red Bulls and a Wings & Chips platter with either Peri Peri or BBQ flavour. The Cocktail Special costs R1,500 and includes six signature cocktails alongside the same Wings & Chips platter.

Those looking for something more premium can opt for The Vibe package at R3,000, featuring Jameson Select Reserve, six Red Bulls and a Wings & Chips platter. The Premium package, available for R3,500, includes Inverroche Gin, six mixers, a Wings & Chips platter and a pizza with a choice of toppings. Every package also includes a reserved table.
