Born Siyabonga Mkhize and raised in Midrand after being born in KwaZulu-Natal, KLY has built a reputation for blending silky vocals, trap-soul textures and distinctly South African influences. His latest Spotify milestone reflects the continued appetite for a sound that has remained closely connected to his identity since the beginning of his career.
