Issi Drops “Go Down Low” Ahead of New 6lekkesa ~ Rd 6 Project. Issi has officially released his new single “Go Down Low” as he counts down to the arrival of his upcoming project, 6lekkes ~ Rd 6, which is set to drop on September 25.
The new eight-track project brings together a mix of familiar collaborators and fresh production, with Issi continuing to build on the sound and identity that have shaped his recent run. “Go Down Low” leads the tracklist, with production from Coach Kling and background vocals by Natasha MD.
The project also features “Ishayile,” produced by Crxigcreates, followed by “Safe,” produced by Therealslaypapi with Natasha MD returning on background vocals. Issi also links up with Lowfeye on “No More Tears,” produced by Subbgotclout.
Elsewhere, the tracklist includes “Play Flair,” produced by Therealslaypapi and Subbgotclout, as well as “Coshu’pin,” produced by Reidputmeon. “Hop Out” brings The North Mob into the mix, with production from Crxigcreates and Lucent.exe. The project closes out with the bonus track “Opp Converter,” produced by Vetmarc.
The visual rollout sticks to the stark street aesthetic associated with Issi’s recent material. The black-and-white artwork features two figures positioned against a dark backdrop, with heavy chains, an eagle pendant, a baby bottle and a stack of cash forming part of the imagery. A black flag carrying The North Mob name also features prominently, while the eagle symbolism and 6LEKKES branding reinforce the project’s visual identity.
The release adds another chapter to what has already been a busy 2026 for the Chesterville-raised rapper. Earlier this year, Issi released Dawn ~ The Beginning, while his growing list of collaborations has continued to connect him with artists from different corners of South African hip-hop.
His latest project also brings together Lowfeye and The North Mob, highlighting the expanding creative links surrounding Issi as he develops his sound and profile.
With “Go Down Low” now available, the wait for 6lekkes ~ Rd 6 is down to one week. The eight-track project is scheduled for release on September 25, giving listeners a closer look at the direction Issi is taking with his latest body of work.
