AKA Pulls A Total Of 2.8 Million Viewers On The Debut Of His Braai Show On SABC 1. Started off on an App of a first of it’s kind AKA landed a deal with the biggest channel in the country SABC 1 to air the 13 episodes of his show from the AKATV app.

The first episode aired at 19:30 on the 12th of November leaving an astounding number of viewers impressed. According to latest reports the show attained a total of 2.8 Million views, making it one of the most watched shows in the channel even on its first episode.

“TV: AKA talkshow pulls decent numbers. The Braai Show with AKA started airing on SABC1 on Thurs, November 12th at 19h30 — pulling in 2.8 million viewers in its very first episode. Making it the 13th most watched program on the channel and 18th in South Africa,” read the announcement by journalist Phil Mphela.

He went on to add that if the show keeps up the high numbers it will rank at the top with Nyan Nyan as the most watched show on the channel.

“NOTE: If the numbers hold, this will make AKA the second highest rated talkshow host in South Africa. If the show retains the 2,8 mill viewers or pull higher, it will likely fall behind Nyan Nyan in terms of Most Watched Talkshow in South Africa.”
