Gigi Lamayne Shares The Status Of Her Upcoming Album. Gigi Lamayne has been hard at work since the start of 2021 with features, securing her bags in other departments and strengthening her brand. She has grown to become one of South Africa’s strongest lyricists and it doesn’t seem like she has plans to stop anytime soon!

At the start of 2021, Gigi announced that she is in Album Mode and is gearing up to release her album in the same year. She recently took to twitter to share the status of her album, mentioning that it is complete and asked fans to guess who her features on the album are. Her tweet read, “Album done and dusted ! Guess who’s on it ?“.

We don’t have any particular details about Gigi’s upcoming album, but what we do know is that she locked in a feature with Nadia Nakai. She didn’t mention anything about the track being included in the album’s tracklist. There is also no certainty that her first single of 2021 Fxck Everybody will be on her new album.

Gigi’s new album will come after her 2019 release Job Woods that featured the likes of Zakwe, Kwesta, YoungstaCPT and 25K. Her fans are already looking forward to the upcoming release.

Apart from her solo music, Gigi appeared DJ Switch’s single Flood Gates featuring Pillboyy and Taylor T. DJ Switch also dropped a music video for the single. She scored herself a new distribution deal with local distributer Electromode and also bagged a collaborative deal with sparkling wine brand Chateu Del Rei. She also dropped an independent podcast called FU Radio where she speaks on issues that are important to women everywhere.

It is certainly safe to say that Gigi Lamayne is owning 2021 and we can’t wait to see what her next project will be.
