AKA Back On Instagram After Previously Announcing Social Media Hiatus. The past two months have been a whirlwind in AKA’s life since the rapper lost his fiancée Anele Tembe in April. AKA had released several statements, one of which responded to social media backlash about images that left the nation shocked and questioning his relationship with Anele.

In one of his statements the rapper announced that he would be taking a social media hiatus and said that he had entrusted his team to handle his public affairs including all his social media platforms. After being off social media for some time it seems the rapper got himself with a puppy and wanted to share that on his Instagram page. AKA posted his first post with the puppy in his arms captioning the post who he named King Louie The 13th Forbes.

The post read, “Hey King Louie The 13th“. He tagged the puppy’s Instagram account in the post.

The rapper added an Insta story post as well, posting a pre packaged meal with Outkasts’ So Fresh, So Clean playing in the background.

It was also recently reported that the rapper is back in studio after a super fan had tweeted that she had spoken to the rapper over the phone and even got to hear a snippet of his new EP. The news was confirmed by house DJ and entrepreneur Oscar Mbo who said he had also heard the EP and was temped to play it on his Instagram.

AKA has been making the headlines and shocked the nation during his Tell All interview with Thembekile Mrototo. He gave explicit details about how Anele fell to her death whilst they were in a hotel room on the 10th Floor at the Pepper Club hotel on the 11th of April 2021. He also revealed details about drug use in their relationship where he said he would not answer on Anele’s part but confirmed that he has used drugs before.
