Blxckie Shares How He Assists Young Upcoming Rappers. It has become a norm for rappers who have made it in South Ah to help upcoming rappers make it in the industry. Those who have made it often, create a ladder for artists, so they are able to reach new heights, they either do this by featuring them on tracks, give them shouts out or even sign them to record labels.

Rapper Blxckie was asked by Cybersonic during his interview on myDms Podcast, if he has the power to sign dope rappers or artist’s he comes across or if not how does he go about the situation. Blxckie explained to the host that he doesn’t have his own record label yet but he is always willing to talk to an artist and offer them words of encouragement on their journey. “I don’t have my own record label, yet but if someone is dope dawg for me it’s dope to just maybe talk to that person,” Blxckie shared.

“I’ll say what’s going on, how you doing, how’s life because this thing can get weird. The rapping and just trying to make it as an artist gets weird sometimes. So, you got to speak to the young boys and just tell them it’s cool, it’s nothing hectic you just got to keep working perfect your craft.” Blxckie went on to reveal that he also does give upcoming rappers a verse. “It comes to a point where I’m like actually let me help you out let me give you like a little verse or something so that wherever you dropping on SoundCloud or whatever, it will help you and it will just also inspire you to carry on going.”

The host of the show asked Blxckie to break down the weird challenges that up and coming rappers might experience. The Hold hitmaker went on to share that sometimes an artist can find themselves questioning if they are going to make it in music and might not have a good support system around them. “Most of the time people that are really passionate about music are not born into musical families and stuff like that. So they always like left always like the black sheep of the family trying to make it.

“So it just gets weird to like when you like alone in the studio or trying to make your music. Like you’re alone and you’re just thinking about how far can you take it, do you have the talent to take it far, do you have the resources or the network to take it that far and when you start realizing that you don’t have much of that it’s gets very discouraging and you don’t really want to do anything anymore. So it’s just dope to give them that little inspiration and new light.”
