Watch! Fifi Cooper Still Around, Performs At EFF Rally. Multi-talented Fifi Cooper, born Precious Boingotlo Mooketsi is certainly one of SA top MC’s, her bars and flow have certified her place in the rap game. However, over the years Fifi Cooper has taken a back seat from the spotlight and is no longer in the public eye as she used to be when she was signed to Ambitiouz Ent. The rapper may be out of sight but that does not mean she has stopped working, earlier this year, Fifi Cooper dropped her second single, Motlogeleng off her upcoming album, Chapters. The single was dropped under her own record label Mo Cooper Records.

Fifi Cooper recently performed at a rally of political party EFF, who she has become an avid supporter. The political party assisted the rapper with saving her music career after her former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment served her with a court interdict in 2018 preventing her from performing any music she had recorded during her time at the label. The rapper in one clip from the rally is heard singing, a struggle song and saying Viva EFF as she encourages the crowd come November 1 to vote for the EFF.

A picture of Fifi Cooper along with the president of the party, Julius Malema has also been seen on social media. The Boss Lady, as she is also known as was not the only famous face spotted at an EFF rally, actress Ntando Duma, actor Cornet Mamabolo and party starter Uncle Vinny has been spotted. Fifi has previously said that she is not an EFF puppet when the party was criticised for trying to politicize her situation. In an interview with Sowetan Live, Fifi Cooper explained her relationship with the political party and how they booked her when other promoters wouldn’t.

“I feel like they saw an injustice and they wanted to help. They fight many cases‚ not just mine. They fight for you when they feel there is an injustice. I am not a puppet. I am an artist and I appreciate what they did for me. It doesn’t matter how I feel about Julius (as a politician)‚ he saved my life. I would have been in Maftown (her hometown of Mahikeng) now without him,” she told the publication. “I am not an EFF artist. To tell you the truth‚ I believe that everything in your life happens for a reason and if the EFF are meant to be in my life for a reason then who am I to dispute it? It is not about what people think I am,” she added.
