The rapper has utilized all the resources he has to make sure he uplift after upcoming creatives by launching the now popular event CottonFest.
The rapper has shared how it is essential to uplift young people by giving them all the opportunities to prove themselves. “Please believe in young people. Give them as many opportunities as they need to prove themselves. At any cost.” Tweeted Riky Rick.
The rapper has not only played a role in uplifting young people through making music, but he has also partnered with organisations for the academic well-being of young people through CottonFest events. In 2021 Riky Rick’s Cotton Fest platform has collaborated with the Department of Arts and Culture to launch Lab Live, a digital series.
“As a build-up to the 3rd annual Cotton Fest set to take place in February 2021, the Lab Live is an initiative powered and supported by The Department of Arts and Culture, set up to empower future industry players from the safety of their homes, in light of the current global situation,” a press statement explains.
All this was put in place to educate young people about the music industry and how they can make the most out of it.
