Raf Don Delves Into The Upcoming Single Featuring Youngsta CPT. Everyone has most likely possessed a pair of these sneakers for everyday use or for a sporting or fashion event. Sneakers have however become the real deal to merge hip hop and fashion and most rappers have invested heavily into kicks.

Raf Don and YoungstaCPT collaborated on a track that digs into Cape Town’s shoe culture. According to The South African publication, Raf Don and Youngsta CPT are set to release a new track titled Tekky to appreciate the sneaker culture in Capetown.

The artists have made their mark as some of the brilliant rappers in Capetown. Their new single is coming to connect with the people of Capetown from different backgrounds. According to The South African, Raf Don stated that  ‘Tekky’ is a representation of their shared passion for sneakers with the people of Capetown, which influenced the song’s title.

“Youngsta and I wanted to find a way to connect with people from different cultural backgrounds, races and classes and this was the perfect way to do that because of the common love and interest in sneakers, which also inspired the title of the song by using the colloquial term Tekky,” said Raf Don.

In Cape Town, there are relics of sneaker culture everywhere, and Raf Don has made it clear that it is a part of their identity. “Our sneakers are a part of our identity because through our sneakers we are able to make a statement,” he added.
