Berita Reveals ‘Shocking’ Details About Her Marriage To NOTA. NOTA has been topping the trends after the remarks he made on the Nkulukeko n Culture podcast episode. The outspoken music executive referred to Ndamase, Ayanda Thabethe, and South African black women in relationships with wealthy men as objects that may be bought and even killed at will.
“The Mihlali’s of this world. I mean, like, imagine… Like, imagine there’s some guys who think that Mihlali is attractive, and all I think is that [I can buy her]. They don’t understand that if Mihlali’s for sale, that means she’s an object, which means you can kill her if you want to,” Nota claimed.
In response to this strange rant, Berita stated unequivocally on Twitter that she no longer considers herself NOTA’s wife, having left their home on Thursday, January 13, 2022. “I am no longer married to Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi. I left our marital home on Thursday the 13 of January 2022. As it stands we are currently separated,” she wrote.
The revelation made by Berita that she left her marriage the day she had to choose between being married and being alive may have shocked people the most. Berita did not expressly accuse Nota of abusing her physically, intimidating her, or threatening to kill her, but she did suggest that NOTA needs assistance with his mental health.
“I tried my best whilst I was in his life. I tried to also plead with his family about this. He is a really good man, sometimes he means well. He needs help,” she wrote.
Berita claimed that the humiliation and bullying she has experienced both publicly and privately hurts her. She added that she couldn’t understand Nota’s illogical actions alluding that she missed the biggest red flags about NOTA. “I am a very reasonable person. I will be the first to admit. I missed very big red flags,” she explained.
