“Gained another Guardian Angel”- Cassper Mourns The Passing Away His Grandmother. Cassper has eased into the new year after an explosive finish to 2022 with the successful FillUp Mmabatho Stadium in his Mafikeng hometown.
The rapper has however endured a devastating start to 2023 following the passing away of his grandmother. Taking to Twitter, Mufasa shared the sad news with his followers but he also showed gratitude for all the life lessons he learnt from his late granny.
“Gained another Guardian Angel last night. My Grandmother from my dad’s side Naledi “Star” Phoolo crossed over. Thank you for everything nkgono. May you lessons stay with us so we can live a long beautiful life like you did. May your soul rest in peace.” Tweeted Cassper.
Cassper has lost quite a number of people close to him with the recent one being the atrocious passing of the famed DJ Sumbody. At the start of last year, the rapper also mourned the passing away of his long-time friend and fellow rapper Riky Rick after he committed suicide.
Heading into the new year, Cassper has been keeping a low profile as of yet and the rapper has emphasized spreading love throughout this year. The Tito Mboweni hitmaker said in a tweet that he is going to be leading with love this year. “We gone lead with love from now on. Try mend what we can. Show each other different perspectives. With love,” tweeted Cassper Nyovest.
The rapper has not said anything in regard to releasing new music this year. Rather Cassper Nyovest has said that he is not bothered by about reclaiming his top spot in the SA hip hop space. The rapper mentioned that he has done it all, from making good music to securing big business deal.
