Taking to Twitter, Cassper announced that his alcohol brand Billiato has secured its first brand ambassador. The rapper stated that they have found the right person whom they think will take the brand to greater heights.

Billiato just signed it’s first ambassador!!! I’m so excited for this!! The brand is growing and we found a perfect partner that we believe in. I’m on set now shooting the campaign. Do you think you can guess who it is??? #BilliatoAmbassador,” tweeted Cassper.

Despite all the rumours that Mufasa is not the owner of the liquor brand, he has not backed down from working towards making it one of the best alcohol brands in South Africa. Towards the end of last year, the Tito Mboweni hitmaker announced that Billiato is now SA’s 8th best seller.

“Billiato is currently the 8th best-selling liqueur in the country. In our first year, we have broken into the top 10. We are also the fastest growing liquor brand. The support you guys have given us is overwhelming,” Nyovest said in a tweet.

The Doc Shebeleza hitmaker described the liqueur as a flavoured liquor with “a taste of luxury.” It was introduced in December 2021 and is now available for purchase at massive stores like Makro for R329 a bottle.

In recent years, South Africa has seen a large number of celebrities make investments in or create their own alcoholic beverage companies. AKA, DJ Zinhle, Cassper Nyovest, and Bonang Matheba are just a few well-known figures.
