Emtee Reacts To Reports That He Handed Himself To The Police. Award-winning rapper Emtee made headlines a couple of days ago after being alleged to have been physically abusing his pregnant 7-months wife.

According to the City Press, Emtee handed himself to the police and the Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo confirmed that the rapper will be appearing in court after being charged with assault.

“As per the case you provided, the police can confirm that the suspect handed himself to the police and he was charged with assault and taken to court where he was granted bail.

“He handed himself in on Wednesday, March 8, and he was taken to the Midrand Magistrates’ Court the same day,” he said.

In response to the aforementioned reports, Emtee took to Twitter and refuted the claims. “Ave ninya ke nina,” tweeted Emtee. Which translates to “They are talking sh*t.” This is not the first time Emtee and his wife Nicole Kendall have made headlines for all the wrong reasons. A few years ago, Emtee once reported that he has been a victim of abuse from his wife.

Emtee’s fans have been in full support of the rapper denying that he is an abuser. The rapper is currently working towards a DIY 3 album and that is what his fans want him to focus on at the moment.

There is no specific date as to when the project will be released, but Emtee made it known that he was waiting for Sjava and Saudi to release first. “Saudi and Sjava gotta drop first then ke,” he tweeted.

Now that his peer released Isibuko whilst Saudi is pushing for the release of his album, fans should expect DIY 3 anytime this year.
