Kwesta is one of the rappers who executed his approach to finding ways of staying relevant by making music outside of the hip-hop fraternity. The rapper is now working on his return to rap music and he has promised his fans big things and to release more rap music.

During an interview with PopCast Radio Podcast, the Nomayini hitmaker revealed that he has been busy working on singles, one of which features Thato Saul and YoungstaCPT. “I’m working on joints that I’m just gonna drop willy nilly until I’m sort of album mode creatively,” he said.

“A lot of them very hard punchline and not to storyline based or emotional or whatever, until we get to that point where I feel like creatively we can find a theme for this album and kinda work on that.”

On the type of music he has been working on, the award-winning rapper said; “a lot of music is coming, the other day I did a joint with J Smash and a guy I wanted to rap with for a long time Thato Saul, also has YoungstaCPT on the joint so that should be crazy,” said Kwesta.

“It’s actually quite a smash, its club-worthy, it’s not too nosy like you know, it’s very current. A lot of people will hear me on that type of sound or beat for the first time,” Kwesta emphasized.

The rapper marked 16 years in the game and he is currently working towards hosting a concert in a bid to honour his music journey.
