Stogie T Applauds AKA’s Love For Hip-hop After Sharing “Lemons Lemonade” Sample From Busta Rhymes’ Song. AKA was without a doubt the king when it comes to sampling songs in SA Hip-hop. The Supa Mega’s posthumous Mass Country album it’s a clear indication that the slain rapper mastered the technique of sampling music very well.
Taking to Instagram, Stogie T who was close to AKA in the music industry shared a video clip of the US rapper Busta Rhymes for the song As I Come Back. The song indicates how versed AKA was in the hip-hop culture as the late rapper used some parts of the song in his Mass Country lead single Lemons Lemonade.
Stogie T reflected on the love AKA had towards the hip-hop culture and it’s all evident with how serious he was when it comes to making music. “This is why I loved this guy, he was from the culture in a very serious way. HE CARED ABOUT IT FOR THE MOST PART. RIP KIERNAN FORBES,” wrote Stogie T.
Stogie T has always been a fan of AKA music. AKA’s Mass Country has achieved bigger things following its release with Lemons Lemonade reaching multi-platinum status. Company ft KDDO went platinum whilst Mbuzi’, ‘Dangerous’ and ‘Prada’ were certified gold.
