Tibz was a prominent figure in the South African entertainment industry who left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. As a respected media personality and entrepreneur, he was known for his vibrant personality, passion for music, and dedication to fostering connections within the creative community.
Tibz played a significant role in advancing AKA’s music career as his manager. He revealed that his admiration for the Supa Mega sparked his desire to take on the role. “I was a fan before I was his manager, and I’m still a fan, and I think just the authenticity and self-belief… people can see it, people aren’t stupid,” he said.
“At some point, I realised I’m actually managing this guy. It was a very, very organic process,” said Tibz. “We never had formal sittings as to, okay, this is what we’re gonna do up until we actually had to do it.”
