“He was a difficult person” – Sho Madjozi Remarks On Working With AKA. In a recent Metro FM interview with Tbo Touch, Sho Madjozi shared insights into her collaboration with the late rapper AKA, delving into the hurdles and intricacies that characterized their working relationship.
The “John Cena” hitmaker didn’t shy away from addressing the difficulties she encountered while working with AKA. The two artists joined forces on the track “Casino” in 2020, and their collaboration was met with mixed reactions from fans. Sho Madjozi emphasized that the Supa Mega was one of the individuals who warmly embraced her during the early days of being in the industry.
“He was one of the industry people to show me respect in the whole industry absolutely. But he was also quite a difficult person. I think at the time I really struggled, you look back and you’re like I get it, and if you can hear the music was so timeless, but we fought,” Sho Madjozi said.
Sho Madjozi further explained the reason behind the repetition of her verse on “Casino,” revealing that she and AKA had a significant disagreement about her musical delivery in the song. “If you listen to my verse, there’s a reason why it played like three times on the song because I only did like eight bars, i didn’t finish my verse because we fought before I finished,” Sho Madjozi said as she revealed the details of her fight with AKA.
