Lolli Native Heaps Praises On Makwa’s “Makwande” Album. Last year, the South African Hip Hop scene experienced a wave of rappers releasing music projects, and among them was the renowned rapper and producer Makwa, who made significant contributions to the cultural landscape.

Makwa released a remarkable 22-track album titled “Makwande,” earning widespread acclaim from many South African Hip Hop enthusiasts. Heading into 2024, the project is still on many people’s lips with fellow rappers like Lolli Native also coming out and giving a thumbs-up to the Makwande album.

Lolli took to Twitter (X) and praised Makwa‘s exceptional work on the project which he described as relatable. “@only1makwa#Makwande is A Super dope Project Mfowethu! I relate!” Wrote Lolli Native. Lolli’s comments on Makwa’s project sparked a mutual exchange of positive energy between the two artists.

This fostered an admirable bromance and a deep mutual respect. Makwa reciprocated the support by expressing gratitude to Lolli for his encouragement. “Thank you my dwag,” Makwa responded. With the support the project has received even from fellow rappers, Makwa also received massive support in the creation of the album as he managed to house a slew of features.
