Released in May 2024, Stogie T’s “Shallow” is a 6-track EP inspired by his childhood growing up in exile during the 1980s in South Africa. It’s a complex project that explores the beauty and struggles of that era, referencing historical figures like Winnie Mandela and Steve Biko alongside cultural touchstones like Brenda Fassie.
