Despite the significant impact he made at the height of his career, the renowned rapper eventually stepped back from the limelight. This shift led some fans to believe that he had withdrawn from the South African hip-hop scene altogether.

In a recent remark from SA Hip Hop 247, which suggested that KLY had vanished from the music scene, the celebrated artist addressed the speculation directly. He clarified that he is still actively involved in the industry, firmly dispelling any rumours that he had departed from the hip-hop culture.

“For those in the comments saying I left the race. https://IngroovesAfrica.lnk.to/THREEEAr I never did. Those who are tapped in, are tapped in and those a who aren’t will tap in eventually,” KLY said.

Last year, the renowned rapper released an album titled THREE, which showcased collaborations with notable artists such as Riky Rick, Murumba Pitch, and YoungstaCPT, among others. While this album was a significant project, it didn’t quite match the seismic impact of his earlier hits like “SnapThatSh*t,” “Do Better,” and “Runners.” His presence in the industry has evolved, but his past achievements continue to resonate strongly.
