Scoop Makhathini Shines At The 2024 GQ South Africa Style Awards. Scoop Makhathini once again proved his status as a style icon at the 2024 GQ South Africa Style Awards, held last night at THE VIEW in Auckland Park on August 31. The event, which celebrates the best in South African fashion and style, saw Makhathini stealing the spotlight with his impeccable sartorial choices.
Scoop Makhathini who is known for his impeccable taste and distinctive style, was honoured with the prestigious “Style Icon of the Year” award. His appearance at the awards was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing his signature blend of modern elegance and daring fashion choices.
The famed rapper and media personality scooped the most prestigious award of the night as he clinched the GQ’s BEST DRESSED FASHION ICON AWARD. Taking to Instagram, Scoop shared some memorable pictures of the event as he expressed his delight in winning an award which was believed to be long overdue for him.
“31 August we were invited to attend the 2024 @gqsouthafrica STYLE AWARDS. What an amazing day. The venue was the exquisite “THE VIEW” on 19 MOLESEY AVENUE in AUCKLAND PARK (It was my first time there). Filled to the brim with amazingly well-dressed people who don’t mind celebrating other people. Fuelled by good food, great drink and concordant music,” he wrote.
“The pinnacle Award which was the last award for the night was the “ GQ’s BEST DRESSED FASHION ICON AWARD” … Please read that title again!!!
