He recounted the thrilling yet challenging night when they hosted the launch event at the upscale venue Taboo on a Thursday, packing out all floors with excited fans.
Despite the event’s success, Boss Tlee revealed that they faced unexpected hurdles when the venue withheld their payment, citing “excessive hospitality riders” for the artists. He humorously reflected on the situation, admitting that while they lost out on the money that night, the experience held a much more profound meaning.
“That night meant IT WAS POSSIBLE,” Boss Tlee wrote, explaining how the team’s belief in their vision was cemented at that moment. Looking back a decade later, he expressed pride in how the core team has remained strong, united, and continuously evolving, still pushing boundaries and aiming for more success.
As the 10th anniversary of Tsholofelo approaches, Boss Tlee shared his only wish for the future: “that we improve,” hinting at an ongoing commitment to growth and excellence.
