Tasha HendrixX Talks Anxiety & Pressure of Consistency In The Creative Industry

Over the past few months, the artist has faced the challenge of balancing her passion with the realities of life, and in a heartfelt message to her followers, she shared the personal struggles she’s been navigating.

“We’re living in a time where scarcity does not mean demand anymore,” Tasha began, addressing the anxiety many artists face in an environment that constantly promotes the idea that if you’re not visible, you’re not working. “The world has made us believe that, especially as creatives, because music is released every single day, everywhere, and on every platform. If you’re not constantly showing up, you’re forgotten and replaceable,” she continued, speaking to the overwhelming expectation of continuous output.

For Tasha, the past two months have been particularly difficult, filled with personal challenges that left her feeling as if she had to justify her absence from the spotlight. “I felt so much anxiety because since the year started, life has been a lot,” she confessed. “You see comments like ‘you stopped giving us freestyles, you stopped releasing.’ I didn’t stop—life is just happening. I’m still a human being apart from being an artist.”

Her message was a powerful reminder that creatives are often expected to deliver at a breakneck pace, without understanding the complexities of their lives outside of their work. “People don’t care if you’re balancing a full-time job with your passion, fighting for your dreams. They don’t care if you don’t have time. They think you’re just not working hard enough because the next person is dropping left, right, and centre,” she said, addressing the constant comparison that runs rampant in the industry.

But Tasha’s message was not one of despair; instead, it was one of encouragement for those who might be going through similar experiences. “You’re enough, you’re doing enough,” she reminded her followers. “The world won’t tell you that because it will never be satisfied. But find peace in God. He knows your heart and your situation better than anybody else.”

In a world where consistency is often seen as the ultimate measure of success, Tasha HendrixX is challenging that narrative. “People will judge you, label you as lazy or inconsistent,” she explained. “But the truth is, life happens, and it throws you off. And that’s okay. The world makes you think it’s not, but it is.”

After taking a much-needed pause, Tasha assured her fans that she would be back. “So yeah, I’ve been quiet, a lot has been going on, but I will be back,” she said, leaving a message of hope for anyone struggling to keep up with the fast-paced demands of the creative world.
