“Loud and Wrong”, K.Keed Claps Back at DJ Speedsta After He Criticises Her Music

The ongoing dispute between DJ Speedsta and K.Keed intensified further today after K.Keed issued a pointed response to the DJ’s latest criticism of her music and demeanor.
The latest development follows the release of K.Keed’s new single, Galileo, which dropped earlier today. Shortly after the song went live, DJ Speedsta took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to share his thoughts on her work. He stated that he had reached out to the rapper privately but felt the music she was releasing was not strong enough to justify what he referred to as arrogance. He also said he could not make out a single word and concluded by suggesting that she should “take her L and get out of here.”
In response, K.Keed replied directly under Speedsta’s post, calling his remarks “loud and wrong.” She added that she found it curious that she was on his mind at 3 a.m., stating that she was in his head “rent free.” In the same post, she wrote that while she wasn’t sure whether to feel flattered, Speedsta was not her type. K.Keed also alleged that she had addressed him privately, where she told him “God bless you” and referred to him as “an attention-seeking grown man.” She challenged his labeling of her as arrogant, stating that promoting her deluxe project did not equate to arrogance. She ended the message by calling him a “weirdo.”

The ongoing friction between DJ Speedsta and K.Keed first began during an appearance on 5FM’s 5 Hip Hop Nights, where K.Keed declined a request to freestyle live on air. Her refusal sparked widespread online debate about the relevance of freestyling in today’s hip hop scene. In the aftermath, K.Keed took to social media to address the situation, suggesting the moment was used as clickbait and sarcastically wishing Speedsta a “Happy Women’s Month.” She also previewed a track titled Harsh Truths, which appeared to respond to the criticism she was facing.
DJ Speedsta dismissed K.Keed’s claims by reposting her remarks and calling her “dizzy,” a term he repeated in later interviews. He maintained that her reaction was exaggerated and that she had failed to take responsibility for the incident. The dispute also disrupted their professional relationship, with Speedsta revealing on the Podcast and Chill Network that a music video for their collaboration Take iT Easy was uncertain due to the tension. He cited a breakdown in communication and the lack of an apology from K.Keed as key reasons for pulling back from the project.
The ongoing tension has sparked conversation in hip hop circles about generational differences in approach and expectation. With K.Keed’s latest response, the exchange appears far from over, and continues to unfold publicly in real time.
K.Keed has since deleted the reply from her X account, but screenshots of the exchange continue to circulate online.
