The Umlazi rapper released the high-energy collaboration across major streaming platforms on Friday, October 2, giving fans the full version after a snippet of the track gained traction on TikTok.

“Bad Bishhh” was initially recorded by Tony Dayimane and Usimamane for the latter’s popular Tesla Tuesdays YouTube series. However, the song took on a life of its own after Dayimane shared a preview on TikTok.

“I recorded it with the intention of having it on Tesla Tuesdays a few months back,” Dayimane explained. “Posted on TikTok and it went crazy. Played it for people and my A&R, and he said it’s too much of a banger to go on YouTube only.”

The response to the snippet ultimately changed the song’s trajectory. With listeners calling for an official release, Dayimane decided to develop the record beyond its original concept.

Since he had not written a verse for the track at the time, Lowfeye was brought into the collaboration, completing what became a three-way link-up between three distinctive voices in South African hip-hop.

Usimamane’s presence also adds to the established chemistry between the two rappers. The pair have previously worked together on tracks including “Woah,” “Dilikiyane” and “Lonke,” making his appearance on “Bad Bishhh” another addition to their growing catalogue.

Lowfeye, meanwhile, adds his own Qwellers-rooted energy to the record, helping shape the track into a collaborative street-focused cut.

The release arrives during a busy period for Dayimane, following his Girls & MP3’s EP earlier this year and the sold-out Big Boy Live Show in Johannesburg.

“Bad Bishhh” now moves beyond its original Tesla Tuesdays purpose and into the hands of listeners who first discovered it through the viral snippet.

The single is available now across major streaming platforms.
