He is the leader of the hip hop group HGA and also a member of the Reach Records based hip hop collective 116 Clique. KB was born Kevin Elijah Burgees on 21 July 1988 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He released his first EP titled “100” in 2014. The EP peaked at number 1 on the US Christian Chart. His studio album, Tomorrow We Live was released in April 2015. The album peaked at number 1 on the US Christian Album Chart and at number 4 on the US Rap Album chart. There is no doubt that the 28-years-old Christian hip hop artist is definitely representing a new era of Christian hip hop music in the music industry.

2. At age 15 was offered an opportunity to pursue college through a program called St. Petersburg Collegiate High School.

3. After high school, he enrolled in Bible College and befriended a group of Christian rappers and together they formed a hip hop group called HGA, short for His Glory Alone.

4. He mentioned in an interview that, Jeremy offered him a CD, and he says he was saved after hearing the Gospel presentation on the recording.
