New Release: Gigi Lamayne – Fees Will Fall Video

Multi-talented, multiple award-winning hip hop artist, Gigi Lamayne, is set to graduate from WITS University today with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media and Anthropology. Gigi Lamayne is graduating with four distinctions and is also graduating as the TOP third year Media Studies student, for which she will be awarded the Media Monitoring Africa Prize at a prizegiving ceremony on 14 April 2016.

Gigi Lamayne was one of the few, if not the only celebrity that was in University and also took part in the #FeesMustFall protests that happened toward the end of last year. Gigi remains very vocal aout how important education is and how the government needs to make sure tertiary educations is affordable to a kid from an average background.

The 4X SA Hip Hop Award winner has released a brand new music video for a single taken off her Ground Zero Mixtape. The single is titled Fees Will Fall and in the video we see clips from the #FeesMustFall protests.
