BBC Three Announces New Documentaries With Professor Green
BBC Three announces new documentaries with Professor Green, commissions that will see the UK rapper investigate the truth about the cannabis trade and child poverty in the UK. In each film musician and documentary maker Professor Green, aka Stephen Manderson, will offer his perspective on two of the most important social issues affecting young people today.
Professor Green is a British rapper and songwriter from London. He is the co-host of Lip Sync Battle UK on Channel 5. He married Millie Mackintosh, a channel E4, BAFTA award-winning, structured-reality television series in the U.K, in September 2013, though they had separated since February 2016. The veteran rapper has notably made a name for himself in the U.K rap scene.
Damian Kavanagh, Controller of BBC Three, says: “Stephen is one of BBC Three’s strongest voices whose previous documentaries on suicide, homelessness and illegal dogs really resonated with our audience. I’m sure these two new films from Stephen on cannabis and poverty in the UK will have a similar impact’’.
