Here Are The Most Played Rap Songs On SA Radio In 2018! Hip Hop has been a rather dominant genre in the music industry the last couple of years.

Although the genre has been dominant, it is still a rather small genre when it comes to getting airplay especially for local rappers. In this years top 40 list of the most played songs on radio, Hip Hop only has 4 songs representing the genre and only 2 songs have local artists.

Major Lazers hit single Particular which features Nasty C, Jidenna, Ice Prince and DJ Maphorisa is fifth on the entire list. Kwesta’s Spirit featuring Wale continues to be a force in SA Hip Hop being the eighth most played song on radio. Drake’s God’s Plan and Kendrick Lamar’s All The Stars with SZA are the only other two Hip Hop tracks in this years top 40 most played tracks on radio respectively.
