Khalid Finally Drops Highly Anticipated Album ‘Free Spirit’

After months of fans begging him to release his project rapper Khalid comes through with a 17-track album with John Mayer and Safe as the only collaborations produced by Hit-Boy, Murda Beatz, Stargate and D’Mile.

Free Spirit is the young rapper’s 3rd album, his first is the platinum selling American Teen which dropped in 2017. Last year in October he released an EP titled Suncity which was also well received by fans. Free Spirit as he describes serves as a portrayal of his growth and personal experiences.

“This album is the culmination of all of the growth and experiences I have gathered over the past two remarkable years,” Khalid said in a press release. “I have been in the studio pouring my soul and spirit to create a body of work that I hope speaks to each and every one of you,” he said.
