Boity Addresses Critics Who Still Doubt Her As A Rapper! With the release of Own Your Throne, Boity is three singles into her rap career which has proved to be a success thus far.

But still with that success and having been one of the few SA rappers recently scooped by Def Jam Africa, it’s still not enough to prove to critics that she deserves her spot in the game.

Boity‘s rap game has always been questioned and now she addressing how that makes her feel considering this is only the beginning.

“There are definitely people that still doubt me as a rapper. However, there are people who still doubt Nasty C, Drake and even Jay-Z. I’m only three singles into my musical journey so it’s expected,” Boity told TshisaLIVE.

“I choose to focus my energy on perfecting my craft and growing with my fans. I still have a long journey ahead of me and will continue to turn those that doubt me into believers. However, today Boity is a platinum-selling artist signed to an international label. That is proof that anything is possible. No goal I set for myself is impossible to reach,” she added.
