T.I Explains Why He Placed Jay Z In 2nd Place On His Top 50 Rapper’s List. Last week Tip Harris famously known as T.I publicly shared a list of his Top 50 rappers. As expected the list caused controversy, the big talk at first on him choosing to have Lil Kim instead of Nicki Minaj on the list.

Tip said that he couldn’t have both women in one list because they are same, meaning Kim started out the culture Nicki followed on. The talk of the list still carried on to why he has who in the position they in.

When during a Breakfast Show he was asked why he has Jay Z on second place he said that he hasn’t reached a point of being number one.

“You know what HOV called, we were talking about something else, something non-related, and he said ‘Oh, by the way, you really believe that?’ And I said, ‘yeah, I do. When it comes to impact, I do,” Tip said. “I think HOV is the greatest rapper alive. I think over time, eventually, he’s going to assume that position.”

2pac was the first on his list, he said that he is like the Michael Jackson of Hip hop.

“Pac is like the Hip Hop Michael Jackson,” T.I. countered.
