Despite his significant contributions, the renowned rapper recently expressed that he feels undervalued in South Africa’s vibrant hip-hop scene. Taking to Twitter (X), J Molley said that when his fellow local rappers get international recognition everyone speaks, but it’s not the same thing when the same thing happens to him.

“When A Local Rapper Gets International Recognition, Everyone Gives Them Their Praises. When I Do It, Everybody Is Quiet. All Love Though, I Know The Reason & I Get It. We Going International Now Though. Love Me Before They All Do!” J Molley wrote.

In another post, the “Never Know” chanter said that regardless of not being appreciated and being undervalued, he will still be a notable figure in the culture and he is not resentful about it. He revealed his plans to build a hospital and wellness centres for the underprivileged.

“I Don’t Need Any Praises, They Don’t Pay My Bills. Just Want Y’all To See How I’m Treated In This Country. Anyways I’m Not A Resentful Person. Imma Still Come Back & Open Up Wellness Centers & Sober Houses For The Underprivileged & Hopefully A Hospital. I Live To Serve,” he added.
