Cassper Nyovest, Emtee & Tweezy Nominated At This Year’s Afrimma’s

Cassper Nyovest, Emtee and Tweezy nominated at this year’s Afrimma’s. SA Hip Hop is clearly on it’s way to world domination and it’s clear that we are on the right path. With every year that passes we see more and more musicians being recognised by prestigious international award ceremonies.

In 2016, AKA leads the pack with 5 nominations which is reflective of the type of hits he put out, Cassper Nyovest is second with two nods, Emtee has one nomination and so does the “All Eyes On Me” producer Tweezy.

Emtee and Cassper are nominated in the Best Male Southern category, Cassper is also nominated in the Best Rap Act category and Tweezy is the only South African producer nominated in the Producer of The Year category.
