Emtee Reacts To The Opinion That Trap Rappers Are The Reason SA Hip Hop Is Not Doing Great! For the past couple of years, it’s safe to say trap rap has had success in SA Hip Hop and with Emtee arguably the leader of the pack. That has come with criticism on the rapper and he has had to defend his style of rap on numerous times in interviews and on social media.

Emtee’s friend and fellow hit maker Sjava recently took to twitter asking why people think SA Hip Hop is not doing great. This seem to b e the sentiment and popular opinion across social media as SA music fans claim Amapiano as the current top genre in South Ah and how it’s taken the stop that once belonged to SA Hip Hop.

“I wonder What makes people think SA Hip hop is not doing great,” Sjava asked to which a fan responded blaming it on trappers. “Cause Rappers Are Either Trappers Or Actors Nowadays.” Whilst Emtee wasn’t tagged, he was following the conversation and when trap rap was mentioned, he quickly responded questioning why being a trap rapper is an issue. “So,” Emtee reacted.
