Inkabi Zezwe Reveals Roll-out Plan Ahead Of The “Ukhamba” Album Release. Big Zulu and Sjava are about to smash the South African music scene. The two announced their partnership a few months ago, and the release of their joint album Ukhamba has been confirmed.
With all eyes and ears on the album release, the duo took to their social media platforms and confirmed that the album is now available for Pre-Add on all music streaming platforms. For the first time, the duo also revealed the official release date for their album and it’s exciting that it’s coming straight from the horse’s mouth. “Ukhamba 12-5-23 Pre-Add Now! #inkabizezwe#ukhamba @Sjava_atm @BigZulu_ZN,” read the posts.
The two giants are uniting in a bid to represent the power of brotherhood hence the name Inkabi Zezwe. Inkabi Zezwe is a Zulu term of devotion that, when used in the context of music, refers to a cohesive brotherhood that is representational and symbolic of the nation.
The two famed rappers have released ‘Umbayimbayi’ which has garnered a massive reception amongst Mzansi music lovers. The lead single was certified Gold 6 days after its release and it’s a clear revelation that the fans will be looking forward to more. “Thank you so much Mubarak you have scored GoldWe really appreciate @inkabizezwe,” wrote Big Zulu on his Instagram page.
In a bid to take their brand to the whole of Mzansi, the duo also announced the album tour which will kick start in Pretoria on the 24th of June 2023. The album tour will end in Durban on the 3rd of September 2023.
