Emtee Reacts To Diss Tracks’ Dominance On The Music Charts

Emtee Reacts To Diss Tracks’ Dominance On The Music Charts. There has been a lot of entertainment in SA hip hop in the past weeks. What made most headlines was the release of diss tracks from big-name rappers such as Big Zulu, K.O, Kwesta, Cassper Nyovest and Duncan.

Emtee Reacts To Diss Tracks’ Dominance On The Music Charts

Now that all of these diss tracks have been released to the public, listeners of SA hip-hop have responded to them differently and given them varying ratings. Taking to Twitter, Emtee was shocked at how diss tracks have been dominating the music charts instead of real music. “Wow! 🙆🏽‍♂️ corny diss songs only. No real music?” Tweeted Emtte.

On the list of the music charts, it shows K.O’s Sete with 1.4 million plays ranked second. The other songs which were released by YouTube include; Big Zulu’s 150 Bars, followed by the diss reply from Kwesta and Duncan. Emtee is one of the rappers who did not show any interest to engage in responding to Big Zulu’s diss track despite other big artists like K.O and Kwest jumping on the beats.

In a tweet, Emtee expressed that he does not enjoy diss tracks that expose his difficult times in the SA hip-hop scene. The rapper accused Big Zulu of chasing clout as he criticized the way artists are trying to revive SA hip hop. “Chasing clout is the new “hip hop revival” yall be yapping about?” Tweeted Emtee.

The Roll Up hitmaker also sent a warning to anyone who considers dissing him in a track. “If one more dirty Wack back pack rappin bi*ch diss me.” He tweeted.

Emtee is currently enjoying the success of a new album under his record label Ivangeli which was created by Lolli Native. This is the second project under Emtee Records and it is clearly appropriate why the Hustler is shocked about diss tracks topping the music charts instead of real music.
