Taking to Instagram, the famed rapper shared an announcement made by Hennessy following her brand ambassador deal with an international alcohol brand. “As one of the biggest stars on the African pop scene today, @shomadjozi is recognized as a multiple award-winning musician, songwriter, actress, and poet.

Remarkable for her gqom beats and clever wordplay in multiple languages, she is proudly highlighting Tsonga culture and was named one of Forbes Africa’s “30 Under 30” in 2019. “How can I ever say that I’ve reached the pinnacle, when the pinnacle keeps expanding?” Reads the post.

Sho Madjozi has joined the ranks of rappers who have landed brand ambassador partnerships with some of the world’s most well-known alcohol brands.

The rapper has revealed that she has also gone through rough patches leading her to take a long break from making music. Despite all the praises she has been receiving from brands and her fans, Sho Madjozi made it known that she has been sabotaged by her management to reach her full potential in the music space.

“I discovered two people on my team had been stealing and doing all sorts of dodgy things to block opportunities from me. Some of the weapons formed against me were prospering a little bit. It’s been painful but I’m tired of sitting around feeling miserable about it,” wrote Sho Madjozi.

Fans may be anticipating a new music project from the rapper now that she is making more appearances in the music industry and on social media.
