Emtee Explains Why He Has Been Turning Down Record Labels Requesting To Sign Him Up

Emtee Explains Why He Has Been Turning Down Record Labels Requesting To Sign Him Up. The year hasn’t been to Emtee’s favour but that didn’t push him to take up whatever came knocking on his door.

When the Roll Up rapper departed from his record label, things kind of took a turn for the unfavourable. Still with his talent to keep him up, he managed to feature in a few songs that got him going. He didn’t achieve as much as he used to this year and that’s partly have something to do with his past label.

When asked of his next move on an interview by TshisaLIVE he revealed that he has been getting offers from record labels. Unfortunately he turned them down and stated why.

“People have been talking to me, wanting to help, but I don’t want to focus on that at the moment. I want to focus on Ambitiouz and making sure we can come to an agreement.”

Last time he made public contact with AE, he demanded his trophies – the awards he won during his time with them. He also revealed talking to DRUM that the boss of the label demanded that he paid a hefty amount for the damage of the cars.

His friend Saudi expressed support on leaving the label and revealed how it didn’t appreciate him.

“He was not appreciated enough for what he did for the company and that is a fact. I think it was a learning curve for the whole company and if they do not pay attention to it they will make the same mistake again,” Saudi said.

Emtee established his own label Emtee Records but hasn’t dropped new music under it.
