Kwesta Explains Why Yanga Used To Hate On Him

Kwesta has been on the come for a long time and got his first major co-sign from Skwatta Kamp when they were at the peak of their careers. Today he is a man who stands on his own two feet  well and he always thanks Skwatta for what they did for him.

Having the biggest song in SA without a record deal, better yet, being one of the biggest artists in SA without a major backing you is a really big deal. Dakar was at Battabing when Yanga was there as the video guy.

Skwatta Kamp didn’t know that Yanga had rap aspirations and he later told K1 that he used to hate on him because he felt like Kwesta had taken his spot. “When he heard I was signed and he was speaking to you about what he can we were doing the tape and I had a song there. Yanga told me that he hated that song and he didn’t like me because he felt like he should have been the one out there” Kwesta explained. Fast forward a couple years both rappers have huge reputations in the rap world
