Emtee Reacts To Priddy Ugly’s Claims Of Ambitiouz Entertainment Removing His Albums From Apple Music & iTunes. Former Ambitiouz Entertainment signed artist Priddy Ugly who left the stable over a year ago has come forward to share the worst they have done to him lately.
Priddy Ugly became one of many artists to depart from the label now including Emtee, Fifi Cooper, Gigi Lamayne, Amanda Black and A-reece. While some artists had bitter departures with the label trying to hold them back, Priddy stated that he wanted to leave peacefully. Although he revealed that he left because his career wasn’t handled too well, there was no follow up drama on his end.
Now the Bejtie rapper made a public ranting on Twitter revealing what AE boss has done to him. He claimed he had three of his projects D.N.A and E.G.Y.P.T, E.G.Y.PT. Deluxe removed from Apple and iTunes online platforms.
“My projects – E.G.Y.P.T, E.G.Y.P.T DLX, D.N.A (Da New Africa) (Both uploaded personally under GAS). Have all been removed from @AppleMusic & @iTunes. This is without provocation, without authorization & unbeknownst to us,” wrote Priddy.
When he filed complaint Apple replied by stating that only person who could do such is the label or aggregator.
“@Apple responded by stating that they were not responsible for this & that only the aggregator or label can authorize this action. The albums are still available on our aggregators end & our record label. (The GAS) was not responsible for the removal of these projects.”
He went on to reveal that the label didn’t spend a cent on the making of his album EGYPT while he was signed with them.
“We recorded EGYPT while I was signed to that other label, all on our own. They never commissioned or payed ANY of the producers & session musicians involved, they were not involved in the record of the music, I payed for the album sleeve MYSELF (10K) & they don’t have any seps.”
Emtee has had his bad luck with the label which allegedly repossessed his cars and house, has been refusing to hand him award trophies and was told he owes them Millions.
Reacting to the news of Priddy he simply retweeted views he seemingly agreed with. One of the comments were of how AE terrorize artists.
