Cassper Explains Why He Had Trouble Setting Boundaries. Cassper Nyovest has gone to great lengths to prove himself as one of the top rappers in the game on various levels. The rapper has done it all to make sure he remains the most decorated artist in South African hip hop.

With all of his accomplishments, the rapper has revealed that he has failed to maintain some boundaries in order to prevent being used by those in his orbit. In a video he shared on his Instagram stories, Cassper admitted that confronting people and creating boundaries for them has been difficult for him since he began doing so.

“I struggled with saying no, I struggled with setting boundaries because I have always been so obsessed with pleasing everybody that I cared about,” he said. The rapper revealed that he has been getting ideas from a book on how he can confront certain situations and set boundaries for himself.

“I’m reading some books that speak about the power and the importance of knowing to say no and when to say no, and I have been practicing it lately, it’s not comfortable but it has been very therapeutic for me to be able to confront someone in a situation and set boundaries,” said Cassper.

The father of one also mentioned that he has had issues in some of his interactions with those who are not accustomed to him setting boundaries. “A lot of my relationships right now and friendships have been very rocky because some people are not used to me confronting them or setting boundaries but I think it’s all part of growth,” he said.
