Cassper Responds To Claims Of Pushing Himself More Than His Artists

Cassper Responds To Claims Of Pushing Himself More Than His Artists! Cassper is one of the biggest Hip Hop artists in the SA Hip Hop industry and has shared his platform with other artists.

The rapper decided to start his own record label called Family Tree which has signed Tshego, Nadia Nakai and Gemini Major who later left the label. Since signing Tshego and Nadia, the label has not dropped any albums from either one of the artists and this has fans often accusing the label boss of pushing himself more than the other artists.

The rapper was recently asked in an interview on The East Coast Drive With Bongani And Mags about the balance between being an artist and label owner. “It’s not an easy balance because I’m still an artist and I’m still working on myself and pushing myself and everything I do as an artist comes from me being an artist. So I’ll use my personal capacity to promote myself,” said Cassper.

“There’s the label that does everything for everybody and we don’t dictate how much first of all music people should put out, we don’t dictate how much people should promote themselves like Nadia will release what she wants to release,” said the rapper explaining how his label works responding to whether he pushes himself with his artists. He then went on to clarify that he does not prioritize himself or keep the budget for himself.
