Kwesta Speaks Out On Accusations That He Fired Gun Shots At Big Zulu’s Video Shoot

Kwesta Speaks Out On Accusations That He Fired Gun Shots At Big Zulu’s Video Shoot! Kwesta has found himself with a lot of explaining to do after news surfaced that he was involved in a shooting saga.

The Spirit hitmaker yesterday took to Instagram to clear his name from these accusations. In the post, Kwesta highlighted that on the 12 March 2020 whilst they way Westbury shooting a video of Big Zulu‘s latest single ‘Billion’ Amamillion remix, two men that he doesn’t know started a shootout until they where stopped by Big Zulu.

On the afternoon of the 12th of March 2020, I was invited to a music video recording in Westbury JHB, for @bigzulu latest single ‘Billion’ Amamillion Remix together with @zakwesa and @youngstacpt. An Incident occurred between two guys that were at the video shoot, I am not sure who the guys were as I was invited to the shoot…I was told that an altercation occurred between two individuals as we wrapped the shoot. I’m not aware what the altercation was about but it led to one of the guys firing a firearm. After hearing the gun shoots we went to see what was happening at that point Big Zulu intervened to remedy the situation.” Kwesta explained

After the shooting had stopped nobody seemed to be hurt, Kwesta explained that he went home and that is when he started receiving calls accusing him of shooting people.

After waiting a couple of minutes we figured all was well and no one was hurt. We then decided to leave the scene….Later in the evening i started getting calls that I’m being accused of shooting people.” Kwesta went on.

In his defense, Kwesta denied that he ever participated in the shooting. He went on to state he has never owned or used a gun in his life and he didn’t understand why he was being involved in it. He concluded by saying he was going to the police to clear his name.

“I was not involved in any altercations that led people to be shot. I just happened to be near the scene. Certain people accusing me of such is mind blogging as I have never owned a gun, carried a gun or even shot one at any point. I will be going to the police station to make a statement and vindicate my name.” Kwesta concluded.
