Julius Malema Explains Why He Didn’t Attend Riky Rick’s Funeral. Many people were taken aback by Riky Rick‘s unexpected passing. Nevertheless, people who closely watched him noticed that the rapper exhibited symptoms of depression.
During an interview on Metro FM with TBo Touch, the EFF leader gave a strong reason why he did not attend the funeral of the acclaimed late rapper. “I don’t agree with people who take their lives. I don’t even attend the funeral of people who commit suicide. I don’t do that. I believe that Ricky Rick could have spoken to us because if we resort to that our children will just wake up and commit suicide. You must speak. Personally, myself, I have gone through a lot.” He said.
Julius Malema further went on to say that people must encourage each other to speak so that a solution can be found rather than killing themselves. “We must encourage our people to speak,” he said. “You will be a laughing stock for that time. A solution will be found. There is always a solution. Especially men must learn to speak. Must learn to ask for help, must scream for help, and help will come.” Julius Malema said.
TBo Touch added during the interview said; “even if you look like a fool?” Malema agreed and said, “Just be a fool of that time. Someone is going to hear you and someone going to help you. There is always a solution. Let’s find a solution.”
The EFF made it known that taking your own life is not the solution but he also mentioned that he is not judging but he urged people to speak when they have problems. “I’m not judging, I’m just saying people must speak,” said Julius Malema.
