“You niggas look horrible on your mixtape covers,” Scoop Makhathini Addresses Young Rappers. Scoop Makhathini has once again shared his unapologetic thoughts about SA rappers mostly the youngins.

Scoop is one of the Hip hop enthusiasts who has been in the industry long enough to observe and draw views based on what he has seen. He has also made it clear that he is here to speak his mind despite what people may think. Even with his views he has shown great support to artists of all kind.

This time around Makhathini gave young rappers some advice based on their appearance. He said that the way they tend to look on the covers of their mixtapes contributes to their music not selling as it should. He stated that the drugs and alcohol they consume has negatively clouded their creative skills resulting to poor results.

“Take care of your appearance, you niggas are smoking early and drinking all sorts of shit and doing drugs at such a young age and it shows. You niggas look horrible on your mixtapes covers. Remember, ladies buy music more than gents. Look presentable!” he wrote.

Last week he advised young rappers that if they looking to succeed in music they must get themselves good managers.

“Whatever you want to do (music-wise), and however you want to do it … a good manager is vital. Unlike the artists, they are scarce and probably don’t know they are managers yet … ” he said.
